Queensland Future Skills Partnership
The world of work is changing, and the rapid rate of occupational change and new technology adoption means that the need for new skills across existing and future workforces will be critical. This is why BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) has joined forces with CQUniversity Australia and TAFE Queensland to form the Queensland Future Skills Partnership. The Partnership will encourage innovation and new ways of skilling the resource industry for jobs of the future and fulfil the need for skilled employees in the transforming age of Industry 4.0. The partnership will facilitate fast-tracked development and delivery of new autonomy-related qualifications. The partner organisations will work with industry and content experts in their fields to ensure that skills needs of all levels are considered and applied to genuine industry and operational requirements. The result will be educational programs with broad applicability, able to be adopted by a range of industries in Australia and globally.
