New CEO Appointed

The Executive of the Resources Training Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Munro as its new Chief Executive Officer. Heather has served on the Executive Committee since the Council’s inception in 2011, and as President since 2015.

Heather was most recently VP – Customer Success with Tutis Operations, supplier to the resources industry.

Prior to that, Heather was the owner/manager of Registered Training Organisations and has 30+ years’ experience in training & safety compliance, consulting and product design in the resources industry across Queensland and Western Australia.

We are thrilled to have someone with so much history within our organisation, and such a depth of experience in the resources and training industries, Heather will lead Resources Training Council into the next chapter. Heather is a strong, team-focused leader with a deep passion for training and safety in our industry.

Heather’s official first day at Resources Training Council will be Monday, 3 June, 2019. Until then, she will remain the primary point of contact, and, after her tenure as CEO begins, we will also announce the new President of Resources Training Council.
