Resources Training Council are proud to support Mates in Mining and the work they do in our industry. To raise much needed funds, we will be holding a multi-prize raffle which will be drawn during our conference dinner.
MATES in Mining is an initiative of the Australian Mining industry based on the successful MATES in Construction program in the Australian construction industry. MATES in Mining is affiliated with MATES Australia and conducts its activity under the auspices of MATES in Construction Australia and adheres to the MATES in Construction principles of operation.
MATES in Mining underwent an extensive period of piloting the program to ensure it was culturally appropriate to the mining culture. The pilot was conducted in conjunction with the ACARP project.
The MATES in Mining program is now currently being conducted in a number of mines nationally.
