2019 Queensland Mining Industry Health & Safety Conference

Resources Training Council (RTC) is proud to be exhibiting and presenting at the 2019 Queensland Mining Industry Health & Safety Conference to be held at Star Casino and Hotel Sunday 18th to Wednesday 23 rd August.

RTC CEO, Heather Munro, said “We are honoured to be invited to present the safety training workshop again this year. The provision of information, instruction, training and supervision is an essential component of any risk management strategy. A robust training and assessment program is fundamental to the safety of not only those conducting tasks, but also other workers and people who may be affected by their work.”

During this Workshop, our industry panel and audience will explore questions such as Can our training and assessment programs be more robust? Have we let complacency slip in? Have we stopped training and assessing in some areas because “it hasn’t happened for a while”?
